These textures were sampled and retouched from actual ink liners (think Micron pens or Staedler fine liners) and sharpies on paper, and they come with a paper texture.
I've spent two years chasing the look and feel of traditional media in digital art and I feel like I'm getting pretty close. Let me know if there's any other traditional media brushes you'd like to see.
